Search for a new chairperson goes on
Forfar Athletic has provided its supporters with an update on the search for a new chairperson.
Alan Shepherd officially stepped down from his roles as director and chairman at the end of August, having made the decision over the summer.

However, he has continued his 15-year association with the Station Park side, remaining club secretary.
Vice-chairman Paul Stephen is currently acting as interim chairman until a successor for Mr Shepherd is found.
A statement read: “The board wishes to provide our supporters with an update on the club’s chairperson position, and apologise for the delay in doing so.
"During this time, the directors have been working to appoint a successor to Alan Shepherd as a new permanent chairperson.
"While that search continues, vice-chairman Paul Stephen is currently fulfilling the role as interim chairman until a permanent appointment can be made.
"Paul continues to work with his fellow directors to provide leadership and continuity during this period, and we thank him for taking on this responsibility and for his continued commitment to Forfar Athletic.
"We appreciate our supporters’ patience and understanding and will provide a further update when we are in a position to do so.”
Athletic's woes on the pitch continued as they lost 5-2 away to Stirling Albion in League Two.
They will look to end a run of four defeats when Edinburgh City visit this Saturday.
