Neve is up for the Linder Award
Montrose Women forward Neve Guthrie has been shortlisted for the 2026 ScottishPower Scottish Women’s Football Awards.
The 23-year-old has been nominated for the Kat Lindner Award for Outstanding Athletic and Academic Achievement.

The award is named in memory of former Glasgow City striker and University of Stirling lecturer Katharina Lindner who passed away in 2019.
It was a double celebration for Guthrie as last month she also received confirmation she has been awarded her masters degree from Abertay University in Sports Therapy.
The former Scotland youth international will graduate later this month, with the awards ceremony taking place at Hampden Park on November 28.
Guthrie is up against Avril Johnstone of Airdrie and Saffron McCabe of Bonnyrigg Rose for the prize.
She joined Montrose from Dundee United in the summer of 2023 and made her 100th appearance for the club earlier this season.
Guthrie wrote on LinkedIn: “I can now officially say that I have been successful in completion of my MSc Sports Therapy studies at Abertay University and have been awarded my Masters degree.
"I am looking forward to graduating with my cohort at the end of November.
“I am also delighted to have been shortlisted as a nominee for the Kat Lindner Award for Outstanding Athletic and Academic Achievement.
"Thank you to everyone who took the time to nominate me.”
Montrose return to SWPL-1 action this Sunday when Partick Thistle are the visitors.
Meanwhile, former Carnoustie Panmure strker Natasha Franchi, who is now at Bonnyrigg Rose, has been nominated for Sportscotland Youth Player of the Year.
In addition Forfar Farmington 14s are up for Youth Team of the Year and Jeff Rioch of Forfar Farmington for Youth Coach of the Year.
