Forfar and Arbroath have new fixture dates set

The SPFL has confirmed the dates for rearranged games involving Angus sides.

Both Forfar Athletic and Arbroath are amongst the clubs to have their new dates announced this week by the league.

Gary Irvine’s Forfar had been scheduled to meet Edinburgh City on Friday, April 8 in League 2 at City’s Ainslie Park.

Edinburgh have been playing the bulk of their home matches this week at Ainslie Park while they share with Spartans this season.

But the pitch has become available for the regular 3pm kick-off time a day later and both clubs have agreed to shift the game forward to then.

Dick Campbell’s Arbroath are locked in a title battle at the top of the Championship.

Another side still hoping to lift the title are Kilmarnock and the TV cameras will be at Rugby Park on Friday, April 22 when the two sides meet.

Kick-off is 7.45pm for that game.
