Micro F2 driver Harry wins the Lowland Cup
The chill in the air and the nights drawing in are both indicators that the stock car season at the Cowdenbeath Racewall is starting to conclude.
Another sign of this was the first of this season’s Whites & Yellows Championships, for the Saloon Stock Cars on Saturday evening, plus racing from the BriSCA F2, Prostock Basics, Micro F2 and a demonstration from the Junior F2s.

The final wins were all taken by drivers who did not have to travel far to get to the track.
Paul Reid, from Cowdenbeath, took his first BriSCA F2 Final of the season; Jay Paterson took three wins in the Saloon Stock Cars including the Whites & Yellows Championship and final, and Harry Wotherspoon swept to a birthday hat-trick in the Prostock Basics – the latter pair both hailing from villages on the outskirts of Dunfermline.
There was also a hat-trick of wins for Harry Yule in the Micro F2s, including the Lowland Cup.
Harry Yule (Westmuir) continued an outstanding run of form, taking his first hat-trick at Cowdenbeath in the Micro F2s – and with it the Lowland Cup.
Archie Grieve (Brechin) was unlucky not to pick up a top three finish, with a fourth in heat one, eighth in heat two and fifth in heat three.
Another driver who has picked up a lot of speed recently is Charleigh Ann (Forfar), who was seventh in the second race of the meeting.
Rhys Anderson (Laurencekirk) had his most successful outing yet in the Saloon Stock Cars.
After finishing the Whites and Yellows Championship in fifth, Anderson was fourth in both the opening heat and the final.
There was also first points at the Racewall for Ewan Mitchell (Brechin), who was seventh in the Whites and Yellows Championship and tenth in heat two.
Peter Low (Forfar) was also in action, finishing ninth in heat one and tenth in the final.
In the BriSCA F2 Stock Cars, Brian Hogg (Arbroath) and Peter Watt (Kirriemuir) were in action.
Watt was third in heat one and Hogg was eighth, with Watt fifth in heat two ahead of Hogg in seventh.
In the final, Watt came home in fifth while Hogg crossed the line in ninth.
The Prostock Basics grid featured Martin Joy (Monifieth), who was ninth in both heat three and the final.
This Saturday at Cowdenbeath Racewall, it's the last Scottish Championship of the season with the 2L Bangers battling it out for the crown.
The BriSCA F2 Stock Cars have their Whites and Yellows Championship on the line, while the ORCi Stock Rods and Prostock Basics sign off for 2026.
The first race is set to get underway at 6pm.
