Event to complement House of Dun's snowdrop display

The vast carpets of snowdrops are at their best at the moment, covering the woodland floor in a sea of white. This annual spectacle is well worth a visit.

As an added incentive to visit, the local Angus Members' Centre of the National Trust for Scotland has organised its annual Snowdrop
event at House of Dun this weekend, Saturday, March 5 and Sunday, March 6, when there will be snowdrops, other plants and some produce for sale in the courtyard from 1pm. The house, courtyard, shop and cafe will all be open from 10.30am to 4.30pm on both days and the garden and estate are open daily from dawn to dusk.

After exploring the grounds, you can visit the refurbished courtyard, now home to the Angus Folk Collection, or enjoy refreshments in the Cafe.
House of Dun is three miles west of Montrose on the A935 to Brechin. Stout footwear is advisable as it can get muddy on some of the estate’s paths.
