Following a phenomenal return to the road last year, Hue And Cry are bringing their wonderful piano and vocal show to Dundee and Aberdeen this winter.

Fans can expect to hear stunning stripped-back renditions of classics from the duo’s impressive catalogue spanning 39 years.

Pat Kane from the band said: “The core of what we do is piano and vocal—it’s how we started writing and playing as young lads, and it’s still what drives us today.

"We always play our classics, but piano & voice allows you to refresh some of the other songs in our catalogue, as well as bring something to pop covers. We’re so looking forward to these gigs in the home country too!”

Pat and Greg Kane formed Hue and Cry in 1983 and made a huge impact with albums ‘Seduced and Abandoned’ and ‘Remote’ as well as massive hit singles such as ‘Looking For Linda’ and ‘Labour of Love.’

Albums like ‘Stars Crash Down’ and ‘Jazz Not Jazz’ ensured Hue and Cry’s continued triumph in the 1990s, while the release of the hugely applauded ‘Open Soul’ in 2008 brought them firmly back into the limelight.

The band release their 12th studio album, ‘Pocketful Of Stones’, in 2017 to rave reviews from the press, and fans can look forward to another new record from the Kane brothers in the near future. They have sold in excess of two million records and performed alongside some of the greatest artists in music history.

They will play Dundee’s Gardyne Theatre on November 16 and The Lemon Tree in Aberdeen on November 18. Tickets are available at www.hueandcry.co.uk and directly from venues.
