Brand new tour announced for Strictly star


Pernice, having been a professional dancer on the hit BBC show since 2015, has become one of the best-loved and most successful dancers on the programme. He secured a place in the final three times before finally lifting the glitter ball in 2021 with celebrity partner Rose Ayling-Ellis, the show’s first ever deaf contestant.
In his own words, Giovanni described himself as ‘always the bridesmaid…never the bride’, but has now gone on to make history.

Hide AdGiovanni’s dance partner Rose was the first ever deaf contestant on Strictly and go on to win, and Giovanni also received the earliest ever perfect score as well as overtaking former professional dancer Pasha Kovalev to receive the most ever 10s.
Fans of the show will recall the jaw-dropping moment when the music was paused and Giovanni and his celebrity dance partner, Rose danced a section of their routine in complete silence. The choreography was designed to give people a glimpse of Rose’s world and that of the deaf community.

Hide AdThe 2023 tour will be taking him to venues all over the country and his Scottish dates are in Ayr, Glasgow, Stirling, Dundee, Inverness, Aberdeen and Edinburgh.
Giovanni Pernice Made in Italy will be at Webster Memorial Theatre, Arbroath on Tuesday, March 28.
