Panmure will host Open qualifying event


The Angus course has been confirmed as a host venue, one of 13, to hold a regional qualifying event for the major championship on Monday, June 20.
Those finding themselves at the top end of the leaderboard at the close of play will then advance to final qualifying as they bid for a place at The Open.

Hide AdGolfers aspiring to qualify for the historic running of the tournament, being played at St Andrews this summer, can now submit their entries.
A minimum of 12 places are available in golf’s original championship through qualifying.
Approximately 1,350 golfers are expected to compete across the 13 regional qualifying events with a combined starting field of 288 players then competing in final qualifying events taking place at Fairmont St Andrews, Hollinwell, Prince’s and St Annes Old Links on Tuesday, June 28.
Those golfers wanting to play in regional and final qualifying can view the entry criteria and submit an entry form via TheOpen.com.
