New season opens at Canmore
It’s that time of the year again when our bowling clubs are returning to their greens.
Opening days are being held across Angus and amongst them were Canmore.
Club president Brian Thomson welcomed a large turn of bowlers out for the opening of the new bowling season at the weekend.
Members are hoping for another excellent summer.

Hide AdThree members of the club also received gifts in recognition of 50 years of membership.
Archie Dick received a television, Bob Thomson a carriage clock and Bert Morrison a decanter from the club’s president.
