The Scots will travel to Malaysia this month to take part in a five-team round-robin qualifying tournament for the games.

The Scots, who took an emphatic victory at the ICC Women’s T20 World Cup Europe Qualifier in Spain in August, winning all of their matches, will be looking to maintain that form as they face hosts Malaysia, Sri Lanka, Kenya and Bangladesh in Kuala Lumpur, with one team going on to take part in Birmingham 2022.

The tournament marks the start of an exciting year for the team who will also take part in the ICC Women’s T20 World Cup Global qualifying tournament in the summer.

Scotland will begin their campaign against the hosts on January 18.
