A 0-0 away draw with Peterhead at the weekend left Stewart Petrie’s side just one point behind joint top Cove and Queen’s Park.

A favour from East Fife against the Spiders, coupled with victory at Links Park, will send Mo to the summit.

At the weekend it was stalemate at Balmoor.

It was a game with neither side really doing enough to merit the three points.

On Sunday Championship side Dunfermline Athletic parted company with manager Peter Grant.

Mo boss Stewart Petrie, a former Pars player, was installed straight away as favourite to replace him but his since slipped down the betting.
