Rothes encounter first up for Brechin City

Andy Kirk’s Brechin City will kick-off their Highland Football League 2022/23 season with a home game against Rothes on July 23.

The league released their fixtures for the new season this week, one which Brechin fans hope will end with their enjoying a title celebration at Glebe Park.

Following the league’s opener, Brechin then play Forres Mechanics (A), Formartine United (H), Deveronvale (A), Buckie Thistle (H) and Fraserburgh (A).

City will face a double header against newly-promoted Banks O' Dee over the festive period, with a home fixture on December 27 before travelling to Spain Park on January 3.

The season is concluded with a trip to Inverness to face Clachnacuddin.
