Brechin City striker Julian Wade is moving on

Striker Julian Wade will leave Brechin City to join Highland League side Formartine United following the expiration of his contract.

Announcing the move, Brechin City said t he Dominican had endeared himself to the City support with his positive attitude and was a hit particularly with the club’s younger supporters.

He scored 13 goals in 33 appearances, including a hat-trick in the 5-0 win over Nairn County in March.

Wade said: “Thanks to my team mates and everyone at Brechin City who made the transition easier.

"Special mention also to the group of young boys and girls who cheer me on from behind the goal with their chants and support.”
