Spark has put pen to paper on a two-year deal which will keep him at Glebe Park until the summer of 2024.

The 25-year-old rejected a new contract at Borough Briggs to move closer to home, having recently set up a new coffee roasting business in Brechin alongside Scotland international, and close friend, John Souttar.

Spark has strong links with the local area, having grown up in nearby Inchbare and represented Brechin Boys Club as a youngster before his move to Dundee United's youth academy.

Following his release from United in 2016, Spark went on to play for Dunfermline Athletic and had a loan spell at Berwick Rangers before joining City the following season.

He made 63 appearances over two years before leaving for Elgin City where he made 88 appearances over three seasons.

Manager Andy Kirk was pleased with the signing as he builds towards the next campaign. "We're delighted to get someone of Euan's experience,” he said.

"He's been captain at Elgin City and he'll bring a lot of strength and quality to our back line. We've spoken before about trying to bring the right type of people to the club and we believe Euan is another one that fits that mould and can help us progress. Everyone at the club is thrilled that Euan has decided to come and join us for the next two seasons and hopefully he can play a massive part in what we are trying to achieve."
