A break then Montrose aim to put more daylight between themselves and Falkirk

Montrose will enjoy a week off before looking to get back to winning ways against Falkirk after their undefeated streak was ended on Saturday.

Mo were unable to wrestle anything from Cove Rangers, the home side kicking eight points clear at the top of League One thanks to a 1-0 win.

Despite now being third in the division, the league table continues to look incredibly positive for Stewart Petrie’s side who have a comfortable 14 point advantage over the fifth placed Bairns.

Falkirk this weekend play a rearranged match against East Fife before heading to Links Park on January 29

Mo have confirmed this week that young players Aidan McKelvie, Sam Garnham, Jack Bowden, Keir Balfour and Ross Matthews have all had their loan spells at other clubs extended.

Aaron Reid has also joined Turriff United on loan until the end of the season.
