The surface at Keith is waterlogged, so Brechin will not be making the trip to Kynoch Park.

Andy Kirk’s side will be hoping for a return to competitive action on Tuesday evening, December 14, with the rescheduling of their Scottish Cup third-round replay against Darvel.

That match, in east Ayrshire, has already been postponed twice, with the pitch at Recreation Park being waterlogged last Saturday and still unplayable the following Tuesday night.

Kick-off is at 7.45pm and a trip to play Arbroath in round four will be the prize for the winners.

Brechin City’s next scheduled Breedon Highland League game is due at Glebe Park on December 18 at home to Deveronvale.
