Scottish SPCA seeking permanent homes for animals in Angus centre

The Scottish SPCA is seeking homes for a number of small animals currently in its care at its Angus rehoming centre.

Scotland’s animal welfare charity is hoping to ‘treat’ the ‘boo-tiful’ animals to permanent homes this Hallowe’en.

Dale Christie, centre assistant manager, said: “We hope it’s not ‘witchful’ thinking that we can find homes for these animals this Halloween.

“Ursula is a playful little ferret who is full of fun and mischief! She is a friendly girl who is super inquisitive and loves to run around and investigate. She is quite well handled but like some ferrets can be nippy so any new owner will have to be aware of this.

“Marshmallow is a ‘brewtiful’ but shy bunny. He is an independent soul and prefers to do his own thing than get cuddles. He will require an experienced owner who has the time and patience to work on gaining his trust and building his confidence in being handled.

“Basil is an inquisitive bunny who is always up to see what is going on. He is relatively well-handled so will require an experienced owner who has the time and patience to work on gaining his trust and building his confidence.”
