Lee was diagnosed with cancer after becoming unwell at the start of the pandemic. Following his diagnosis, he decided to retrain and help others who were facing similar struggles.
Paying tribute on its Facebook page, the club said: “He has been a core member of our club for 12 years, coaching, supporting and guiding our young people and senior players. Bringing commitment, fun and a breadth of experience, he has been at the heart of building the Best Wee Rugby Club.”
Lee’s funeral will take place at Parkgrove Crematorium on Friday at 3.30pm.
