Red Arrows and Spitfire flypasts to thank museum's supporters
The event, to be held next Wednesday, is at the invitation of the Montrose Air Station Heritage Centre which is marking a full return after disruption and missed events due to the Covid-19 pandemic.
Both displays will be weather-dependent, but the Red Arrows are due to perform a single flypast at around 11am with a Spitfire and Hurricane from the Battle of Britain Memorial Flight conducting a number of flypasts later in the day.

A spokesman said: “We would also like to invite all the local businesses who have supported the museum over the past years to come along with family and friends and enjoy the spectacle. Without the support of our friends and families together with the tremendous support from our local companies and partners the museum would not be the huge success that it has become.”
Entry to the museum, as well activities for youngsters, will be by donation.
The flypasts will be entirely dependent on suitable weather and the serviceability of the aircraft.
