Pets of the Week - Four-legged friends waiting for you
Nibbles is an adventurous Syrian hamster currently being cared for by the charity’s Angus rehoming centre.
She is a sweet and inquisitive hamster who is always interested in what is going on around her. Although she likes to be handled, her new owner will have to continue to work on this with her so that she does not become nervous.

Hide AdNibbles is fully grown and needs an enclosure big enough to house her, with lots of enrichment activities.
She could be rehomed with children, as long as any handling and interaction is supervised by adults.
If you can give Nibbles her new home, please apply via the Scottish SPCA website at https://www.scottishspca.org/rehome-a-pet/11410-nibbles
Meanwhile, the Aberdeenshire rescue centre is looking after Kiara, a sweet dogue de Bordeaux.

Hide AdShe can be very nervous around new people, but once she trusts you she is the loveliest and most devoted companion. Her new owner would preferably have previous experience of nervous dogs.
Kiara requires an adult-only home that can provide her with positive reinforcement training and socialisation.
She is still learning the ropes on how to react in a public setting and so would benefit from an enclosed garden.
If you can give Kiara her new home, please apply via the Scottish SPCA website: https://www.scottishspca.org/rehome-a-pet/11290-kiara

Hide AdTommy is a lovely pony being cared for by the Edinburgh rehoming centre. When he came in to the centre he was underweight and in need of serious TLC. Since then, he has come along wonderfully and has shown himself to be a friendly and easy to handle pony.
He can be a little nervous and will take his new owner some time to win his trust. Tommy has the potential to be a ridden pony and it is estimated that he will be around 12.2hh once fully grown.
Tommy has recently been gelded and has only lived with other geldings and colts. He would happily live out full time with a field shelter.
If you can give Tommy his new home, please apply at https://www.scottishspca.org/rehome-a-pet/11389-tommy
