Engage Angus aims to provide communities with a secure environment to engage in discussions, share ideas and provide feedback on projects that affect them, ensuring their voices are heard and valued, helping to shape the future of the county.

The council says this new development will significantly enhance accessibility for residents and communities to express their views and participate in council decisions.

Over the coming months new engagement and consultations will appear on the portal from the local authority, ANGUSAlive and the Angus Health and Social Care Partnership.

However, the council will also continue to support a range of existing methods and the platform will be in addition to face-to-face engagement and connecting with those without digital access.

Councllor Mark McDonald, communities convener, said: “We created our online engagement hub to make it easier for people to get involved and have their say on decisions that affect them and their communities.

“As time progresses the engagement portal will have a variety of public engagement and consultations open for the citizens of Angus to have their views and be part of the decision-making processes.”
