Constable Garagan and Sgt Fairbairn from the Operational Support Unit opened the event with a drugs awareness session in the school’s assembly hall with drugs dog Lilly.

Constable Ally Hutchison said: “Safety in the community is paramount. The event was a great success and I’m grateful to all the partner agencies that joined us and helped deliver a holistic approach to safety in our community.

"Special thanks to depute head teacher Mrs Taylor for hosting the event and Ryan Davidson, duty manager Montrose Sports Centre, for the use of the swimming pool.

"The feedback is very positive and we look forward to organising similar events in the future.”
