Mr Doogan said: “These are tough times for all of us, but especially so for over-50s, many of whom rely on a pension which stretches far too thinly while costs skyrocket. I am delighted to be partnering with my colleagues in the Scottish Parliament and Angus Council, as well as so many incredible organisations who deliver critical support to over-50s every single day, across Angus and Scotland. These fairs will be open to all over 50s, free of charge, and could help you, or a loved one, get the support you need in these tough economic times.”

The events will be: Kirriemuir - Kirriemuir Bowling Club, on Friday, June 30 June, 1pm - 4pm; Montrose - Montrose Bowling Club, Friday, July 7, 10am-1pm; Arbroath – Gayfield Park,Thursday, August 10, 1pm-4pm; Brechin - venue TBC, Friday, September 8, 1pm-4pm; Forfar - venue TBC, Friday, October 6, 1pm-4pm.
