Dasher, Juno and Catrick seeking homes

Dasher can be shy around new people, but once familiar he enjoys socialising.

Dasher is a friendly Guinea pig was born on site and is very used to being handled by humans. He can be shy around new people, but once he gets to know you he is a lovely boy who enjoys socialising. He would make an ideal addition to home who already have a male Guinea pig that he could become best friends with.

Dasher’s favourite food is veggies and smelly herbs. He will require a large enclosure for enrichment and exercise. His new owner will have to have done their research into looking after Guinea pigs and have time to give him all the attention and affection he deserves.

Juno the labrador has a lovely nature with lots of energy and loves getting attention.

Juno is a gorgeous labrador looking for her new home. She has a lovely nature and enjoys nothing more than playing with her favourite humans and canine buddies. She has lots of energy and loves getting attention, so any new owner will have to be prepared to give her daily mental and physical stimulation to keep her happy and healthy.

Juno has been socialised with other dogs at the centre, and could live with another dog of similar size and energy levels pending successful introductions. She is very bouncy and can forget her manners in her efforts to say hello! Her new owner must be committed to continuing her training to help her become the best dog citizen she can be. Juno would prefer to live in an adult-only home with no small animals.

Catrick Swayze is a fun-loving cat currently being cared for by the Scottish SPCA Edinburgh and Lothians Animal Rescue and Rehoming Centre. He is a larger than life young cat who loves to play and zoom around. Once he’s burned up all his energy he likes a lovely long snooze although he will need access to the outdoors.
