As well as providing information and advice, there will be a cooking on a budget demonstration, grab a bags with cooking ingredients available and free period products for collection. Councillor Bill Duff, Angus Council deputy leader and finance convener said: “We are facing the biggest cost of living crisis in decades. We recognise the impact increased costs is having on people with families seeing huge increases in their food, energy and fuel costs leaving many struggling to pay their bills, and we want to support residents by providing relevant advice and information.

“The cost of living roadshow event brings council and partner organisations together in one place where people can come and find out exactly what financial help is out there as well as advice and tips. I’d encourage everyone to drop-in. If successful, we are hoping to have more roadshows throughout Angus.”
