Brian makes light work of Christmas fundraising

Brechin man Brian Jemmet raised more than £1000 for Brechin Healthcare Group over the festive period with a Christmas light display.

Many locals view the wonderful display at his Jenner Place, with some making donations.

Although Brian has mounted impressive displays over the last five years, this was the first year that he has taken donations for charity, after many requests from the public.

He set up a JustGiving page, having chosen the Jenner Centre as the recipient.

The centre provides a wide range of physical and mental health support for the Brechin, Edzell and Glens areas and the donation will help to support its facilities

Brian raised the fabulous £1020 which he handed over recently to Dr Stanley Callaghan, chairman of Brechin Health Care Group, at a presentation which was also attended by other centre staff.
