Balcarres care home voted into top 20 best homes

This is the eighth year that Balcarres has been voted into the top 20.

This marks Balcarres’ eighth year in the top 20 group and ranking in fourth place this year.

The awards are run by the UK's leading care home directory and comparison website to recognise the 20 top-rated care homes in each region of the UK.

These are based on individual review score of independent reviews from families.

The 35-bed home received a ‘Very Good’ CI report in January this year in all categories, demonstrating that the home is safe, effective, caring, responsive and well-led.

Balcarres, run by HC-One, has benefitted from a £260,000 refurbishment which included full decoration in the main lounge and dining room, with lighting upgrades in both and new kitchen units installed in the dining room. En-suite bedrooms also received upgrades to their facilities.
