And the group is now looking for parent volunteers who are able to help with the running of the tent over the course of the afternoon.

Anyone with a spare hour and who is happy to help out with serving teas/coffees/soft drinks and cakes and help raise funds can get in touch through the group’s Facebook page, supplying name and availability for the hour during which they can assist.

Parent can also let their Child's Leader know so their names can be added to the Sign Up Sheet.

Assistance will also be required with setting up and taking down the marquee on the day as a number of the usual marquee squad have other commitments.

Anyone who can help out with this can also get in touch via Facebook.

The pageant will also include a fancy dress competition and everyone is encouraged to take part.

The theme this year is medieval, in keeping with the original 2020 idea to celebrate the 800th anniversary of Brechin Cathedral

There will be prizes to be won and anyone dressed up can also join in with the mini parade around the arena at 12pm and 4pm.
