Some roads and bridges are likely to close and there is a good chance that power cuts may occur with the potential to affect other services, such as mobile phone coverage.

There is a probability of some damage to buildings, such as tiles blown from roofs, and injury and danger to life could occur from flying debris as well as from large waves and beach material being thrown onto sea fronts, coastal roads and properties.

Residents are asked to be prepared for the arrival of the storm and to take care, particularly if travelling in the area.
