The event, which included a two day machinery show at the P&J Live Arena, was held to celebrate the landmark in the company’s history.

Martin Ross, managing director of the St Cyrus-based firm, said: “The money raised from our charity dinner will be split between two very worthy causes, Macmillan Cancer Care and RSABI. There is still money coming in and we will release the final total once it is all in and tallied up.

“A big thank you to the sponsors who donated auction lots, everyone who bought tickets, the speakers who kept us entertained and the auctioneer.”

More than 1500 people visited the machinery show and more than 400 attended the black tie dinner.

“The machinery show was a tremendous success with numbers we could not have dreamed of.

“We were very grateful to our dealers and suppliers who attended with trade stands.

“The Ross Agri team have worked tirelessly, especially Sarah who organised the charity dinner and auction. It really was an event to be proud of.”
