George is a shy cat who hides when he feels unsafe. With the right owner and plenty of time to settle in, he will be a wonderful and loving companion.
He is affectionate with centre staff who have put time and effort into earning his trust. He has lived with cats before and could potentially live with them again. He needs to live in either an adult-only home or with a family with older, cat-savvy children.
The Society is unsure if George has had outdoor access, but would like him to have the option in his new home which would have to be in a rural or quiet area.
If you can give George his new home, please apply via the Scottish SPCA website: https://www.scottishspca.org/rehome-a-pet/11288-george
Bilbo is a sweet and good-natured rabbit who loves to explore his surroundings. He can become a little nervous when handled, and will require an owner who can work with him on this and read his body language when he has had enough.
Bilbo is used to living indoors, but the Society thinks he could potentially live in an outdoor hutch if this is introduced to him gradually. The hutch will have to be weatherproof and properly insulated for the winter months.
Bilbo could potentially live with another rabbit pending a slow and steady introduction. Any potential owner should do their research on the bonding process. Due to his nervous nature, he requires an experienced or an owner who had done their research to look after him.
If you can give Bilbo his new home, please apply via the Scottish SPCA website: https://www.scottishspca.org/rehome-a-pet/11299-bilb
Meanwhile, Tinsel is a beautiful silvery fish who has recently been joined by 10 other goldfish in her tank. She is the leader of the pack and is always the first to swim to the surface to be fed. Some of the goldfish are fantail and others are loach. They will need a suitably sized tank with lots of decorations and hides for them to swim and play in.
If you can give Tinsel and friends a new home, please apply at https://www.scottishspca.org/rehome-a-pet/11143-tinsel-friends
