The Scottish SPCA is looking to pair up several animals in its care with new loving homes.

Bryce is a friendly lurcher who is currently being cared for by the charity’s Angus rehoming centre.

Bryce has lots of energy and loves nothing more than heading out for his daily walks. He gets a bit overexcited when first heading out, but after a little while will calm down and enjoy his exercise time. He would be best suited to an active family who can take him out on lots of adventures.

Bryce is a great dog who is friendly to everyone he meets – humans and canines alike. The society thinks he could be rehomed with a dog friend pending successful introductions at the centre but would not be suitable for a home with any resident cats or small animals.

Bear is a lovely cat also being cared for at the Angus centre. A timid but kind-natured cat, he is very affectionate once you gain his trust. He is easily startled by loud noises and fast movements so requires a quiet, cat-savvy home with no young children. It may take some time for Bear to settle in but, once he does, the society is positive he will be a fantastic companion. Bear would like to be the only pet in the home so that he can have all the attention for himself.

Millie, meanwhile, is a beautiful cat at the Edinburgh and Lothians centre. She is a friendly and affectionate cat who enjoys cuddles and head scratches, but has a sassy side too and is more than happy to tell you when she has had enough. For this reason, the Society is looking for either an adult-only home or a family with older children who will be able to read Millie’s body language and give her space when she needs it.

Millie would like to live in a quiet area where she can have regular access to the outdoors so that she can have a potter about in the garden. She would like to be the only pet in the household so she can keep all the attention to herself.
