Garden open for charity

Open on both Saturday and Sunday (July 16 and 17), it is a “young” garden but with a mature feel, definitely worth a visit.
Trish Winton, owner, said: “We moved here nine years ago and created our garden from a building site.

Hide Ad"The emphasis was to create different ‘rooms’, offering peace, harmony and tranquillity, with various specimen plants, herbaceous borders, vegetable plot and a greenhouse.
"A highlight is a memorial garden with an Asian theme in memory of our late son.”
The garden will be open from 11am to 5pm and admission will be £5 with children free.
Funds raised will go to Alzheimer Scotland and to SGS charities Maggies, Quinis and Perennial.
