Furry trio looking for the right fit with new owners

Dorito the cat is currently being cared for by the Scottish SPCA’s Angus rehoming centre.

A beautiful long-haired ginger cat who needs a special home, he is described by centre staff as a ‘chilli heatwave’ and can be quite sassy when he wants to be.

He is an independent boy who does not like to be handled. He enjoys human attention on his own terms, and isn’t afraid to tell you when he wants you to back off. He does have his charms and is a big character. The society thinks he would thrive in a quiet and rural environment, like a farm. He needs space to explore his surroundings at his own leisure.

Rocket the ferret is currently at the charity’s Aberdeenshire centre. He is very well behaved in his enclosure and will often be found chilling out or snoozing his afternoons away. When he gets out into his play area however, he really lives up to his name!

He also loves exploring and sniffing out new smells, and, like most ferrets, can get mouthy with the nearest object when excited.

Rocket will make a fantastic pet. He requires a large enclosure with lots of toys and activities to keep him happy and entertained.

Hulk is an intelligent lurcher looking for his new home. He is currently being cared for by the Scottish SPCA Edinburgh and Lothians Centre. An energetic and loving dog, he will be a great fit for the right family.

He requires some extra training, but is very smart and this should be an enjoyable task for his new owner.

Hulk loves zooming around and playing with toys. Afterwards, he enjoys curling up for a nap, or snoozing in the sunshine. He is looking for an active family and could live with other dogs and children who are confident around large breeds.

If you can give Hulk his new home, apply at https://www.scottishspca.org/rehome-a-pet/11497-hulk
