Dumpling and Taz are Pets of the Week

Dumpling is a lovely feline who is currently being cared for by the charity’s Angus, Animal Rescue and Rehoming Centre.

She was quite shy when she arrived but, once she settled in, her true personality began shining through! This may be the case again in a new home until she becomes accustomed to the new environment.

Dumpling is the perfect companion. She will come over for cuddles and demand lots of attention and then, when she has had enough, she will happily sit next to you in a cosy bed all day until meal time.

Dumpling certainly loves the sound of her own voice and enjoys making sure everybody hears her, especially around feeding time.

Dumpling spends most of the day lazing away in her bed so she would suit an indoor home.

However, there is no guarantee she would not like outdoor access in the future.

If you can give Dumpling her new home, please apply via the Scottish SCPA website at https://www.scottishspca.org/rehome-a-pet/9777-dumpling.

Arthur is a cheeky ferret who is also looking for a new home and also in the care of the Angus centre at Petterden.

He is an inquisitive wee guy who loves to investigate and explore when out and playing with his toys.

Arthur will need a large enclosure with plenty of space with lots of toys and enrichment to keep himself entertained.

Arthur could potentially live with other ferrets pending slow, steady introductions in his new home.

This lad would be suited best to a home with adults. Any children in the home would need to be teenagers as he can nip when he's being playful.

If you can give Arthur his new home, please apply via the Scottish SCPA website at https://www.scottishspca.org/rehome-a-pet/9643-arthur.

The charity is also seeking an experienced home for Royal Python Taz who has been a resident at the centre for some time.

Full details and information on how to apply can be found on page 14.
