The organisation’s museums and galleries service is offering a range of high-quality art prints of works held within the Angus collections.

The ANGUSalive Art UK Shop features more than 240 artworks from the collection including oil paintings, watercolours and sculpture available to buy, with a wide choice of frames and mounts.

There is also a wide range of high-resolution images to license for commercial use.

Some of the well-known local treasures available as prints include ‘Adoration of the Magi’ by Pieter Brueghel the younger, ‘Arbroath Abbey’ by James Watterston Herald and ‘Montrose from Ferryden’ by Edward Baird.

Emma Gilliland, collections lead, said: “We’re delighted that our art collection is accessible to people across the world on Art UK.

It’s even more special that people can now purchase copies of our art works at affordable prices. We will continue to expand the number of prints on offer and hope that people enjoy them from the comfort of their own home.”

Anyone wishing to adorn their home with an Old Master painting or beautiful views of Angus, or looking for the perfect gift, can shop the range of high-quality prints at www.angusalive.scot/museums-galleries/.

The proceeds of any purchase made from ANGUSalive Art UK shop goes directly back into Angus museums to support vital work around collections care, public engagement and education.
