Marie Ramminger, owner and director of both Angus salons, was invited to take part on the stage at the Fellowship for British Hairdressing members night in Edinburgh.

Marie became a member at the start of last year after meeting the necessary criteria and, with the help and recommendation from her friend and celebrity stylist Errol Douglas MBE, her involvement has now seen her on various training platforms with many top industry peers.

This week, Angus County Press caught up with the talented hairdresser who is excited and grateful to be in such a fortunate position and enjoying this level of success.

Marie said: “To now be at a point where I am on stage representing Dream Hair and Scotland at the Fellowship night is just amazing.

“The stylists and businesses that are involved in the Fellowship are the best of the best so to be put up there with them was very humbling for me"

“At Dream Hair, we are always pushing forward with training to keep our skills and knowledge at the top of our game.

“All these things cost money and time but they are worth every penny when we see the results day to day on our clients. It also puts us in a position to be at a standard where we can enter the most prestigious competitions in our industry.”

The good news just keeps on coming for the Angus stylist. Last week, Marie and her team also celebrated the news that Dream Hair is a semi-finalist in this year's L’Oréal Colour trophy.

Employees Charis Skea and Hazel Ogilvie will take to the stage in Glasgow at the end of the month to present their colour skills to the judges.

Marie added: “The pride I feel for my team is so huge and simply can’t be put into words. I cannot praise them highly enough. The hard work and motivation that goes into any competition work is not for everyone, but I have a team now full of individuals who are just as ambitious and driven as myself.”
