Stolen vehicle last spotted in Inverarity area

Police in Angus are appealing for information following a theft of a motor vehicle in Liff at around 7.50am on Sunday, June 12.

A white Ford Ranger pick-up registration number SH14 YAE was stolen.The vehicle is distinctive and may have sustained some front accident damage as a result of this incident.The vehicle was last seen in the Inverarity area.Officers are seeking to identify three men believed to have been involved.One is described as white, aged in late 20s/early 30s, 5ft 8in tall, stocky with short brown hair.

At the time he wearing a baggy jumper, grey/black hoody, jogging bottoms, light coloured trainers and is believed to have used a white transit van which left the scene along with the stolen Ford.Sergeant Peter Mustard, of the Arbroath Police Station said: “This sort of criminal activity in the local community is completely unacceptable and I would urge anyone with information or who may have seen anything to come forward.”Anyone with information should speak to any police officer or contact Police Scotland on the non-emergency number 101, quoting incident number 0897 of June 12.
