Police appeal after cash and jewellery stolen from Montrose shop

Police are appealing for information following the theft of a five-figure sum of money and jewellery from the General Supply Store, on Bridge Street.

The incident happened on Wednesday, August 23 and is believed to have taken place between 3.30pm and 4.20pm.

Officers would like to speak to two men who ran from the shop at around that time.

Both males are described as being int heir mid to late 20s or early 30s, white, medium build, short dark hair, about 5’10” or taller.

At the time one was wearing a navy blue jacket and black jogging bottoms, the second was wearing dark jogging bottoms and an orange, long-sleeved hi-vis work top.
