Dozens of emergency responders, including ambulance and fire personnel, rushed to Keptie Street on Sunday afternoon following reports of concern for a man within the property.

Around a dozen police cars were dispatched as part of the response, which also included armed officers. The street was cordoned off and neighbours kept indoors for almost six hours while negotiators attempted to convince the man to leave the flat.
