Appeal for information after woman attacked in Kirriemuir

Police are investigating after a woman was left badly shaken after what appears to have been an unprovoked assault.

The incident happened at on Tuesday evening on Slade Gardens.

The incident took place near some garages in Slade Gardens some time between 8:30pm – 9pm on Tuesday, December 28.

The woman who was walking her dog when she was approached and assaulted by two men, who knocked her to the ground and punched and kicked her. She was not uninjured during the incident.

Only one has been described, as wearing a black puffa-type jacket, black gloves, jeans and black trainers. He also had a noticeably deep voice. Also, one of the men may have received a lower leg injury during.
