Artisan spirits lovers should be aware that The Red House Hotel in Coupar Angus, together with sister restaurant, The Dalmore Inn in Blairgowrie, are both selling the business’s specially created signature Dalmore Inn gin, crafted for business owner, Alan Bannerman, by renowned distiller Persie.

Working with their master distillers, Alan helped to choose the botanicals and flavourings for the gin, which is reminiscent of a walk through a Perthshire Forest, minty and fresh, with a touch of eucalyptus.

“We sell bottles of the gin here at both locations, as well as serve it to guests to enjoy, “ said Alan. “It makes a lovely gift at this time of the year for a loved one, costing £34.50 a bottle. This is an artisan product which we feel has really enhanced our drinks offering since we introduced it.”

“Perhaps you know somebody who enjoys it when they come to either of my venues to dine out. Pick up a bottle next time you're in, or, we have gift vouchers at both locations too which can also solve the problem for the person who has everything. There’s always a lot of demand for vouchers, as people like to give something that can be redeemed later in the year, as often it’s overwhelming at Christmas. We have vouchers in various denominations, just come in and our friendly staff will assist you.”
