At the time this picture was taken in February, 1994, Brian Ogilvy was the Letham local bobby. Brian was also a huge tractor enthusiast, and the picture was taken at the Forfar and District Ploughing competition at Mains of Glasswell, Kirriemuir. Brian's tractor was a 1953 Fordson Major. He won all the competitions in the 11/12-inch class, except feering. His plough was about the same age as the tractor.
