Forfar and Arbroath vaccination centres on the move
The new venues, the former Mission Centre on Grant Road in Arbroath and the former music centre on Forfar’s Montrose Road, will open on Monday, October 17 with vaccinations taking place for those aged 65-69 and under 65s in at-risk groups.
Lynne Hamilton, vaccination programme director, said: “We would like to thank our vaccination teams and colleagues in Angus Council who helped set up and run the Arbroath and Forfar centres for the past 18 months.

NHS Tayside has been working through the priority groups for the winter vaccination programme with care home visits, home visits and health and social care staff clinics taking place over the first two to three weeks. Vaccinations for the general public, starting with over 80s, began this week in vaccination centres and other community venues across Tayside.
The remainder of people in at-risk groups will be invited over the coming weeks, including those with certain health conditions, unpaid carers, immunosuppressed households and 50-64-year-olds.
Both of the new centres have parking onsite and disabled access.
