Paper bark dressing an alder tree
Shining in the glistening sun.
We were chatting about trees in general when someone mentioned this tree with paper bark.
Amazingly a few days later I came across this splendid tree complete with the famous bark. I had to gently peel the paper bark away just to feel the texture.
A very good description, I thought.
